Engine 21 Design is an independent design and strategy consultancy based in Lilburn, GA, founded in 2014. The name comes from a locomotive engineered by our founder's great-grandfather — a nod to the idea that the best work is built to run, not just to look good on paper.

Our path here started in architectural drafting and CAD design, then moved through international business development across ventures spanning technology, consumer products, and regulated industries. That combination shapes how we work today: we operate across three connected disciplines — platform and payments architecture, international regulatory compliance and project management, and sports and entertainment technical operations — bringing technical depth and on-the-ground execution to projects that need both.

We've built payments and platform infrastructure for a national sports and entertainment brand, navigated multi-jurisdiction privacy and licensing law for regulated industries, and served as the connective tissue between design, engineering, and construction partners on projects of every scale. Whatever the project, our approach is the same: understand the system, build it right, and stay in it long enough to see it work.
